Wonderful isolated lodge that takes you to another world. Well worth the drive. Wonderful food and beverage and outstanding service. The lodge grounds are amazing and the variety of wildlife outstanding.
Tree tops was great. Excellent food and drink. Great views and activities. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Head staff are extraordinary. The lodge is astonishing. Remarkable place to find yourself a peace in bush and hills. However, few staff need to learn not shutting to their superior in the kitchen. that's embarrassing for the team. All disaggrement need to slove outside of custom attention. Still a remarkable experience for guests in general. Recommend!
From the time we arrived until the time we reluctantly left, we were treated to a completely pleasurable experience at Treetops. A perfect example of laid back luxury, New Zealand style. The staff were warm, friendly and anticipated our every need. The food and wine was great, and the surroundings just right. My only complaint is that one night is not long enough to stay! We will be back.
This lodge was the most amazing stop on our 2 week trip to New Zealand. The estate is vast and beautiful. The estate manager took us on an early morning drive to tour the property and see the elk, deer, water buffalo, rams, and duck. The lodge and bungalows are beautifully designed and decorated. It is a very comfortable and serene environment. Our massages at the on-site spa were among the best we've had in our travels around the world. Hiking trails on the property are private and offer strenuous and easy trecks thru stunning landscapes. Some service and attention to food allergies could be improved, otherwise, extraordinary.
Great place to stay. Lots to do and see. Private villas. Tons of animals.
