Worth a visit!
Delightful spot to contemplate. View was exceptional the day we were there
A bittersweet place. A sad monument to our past miners , also a beautiful carpark area to take breathtaking photos of the coast.
Nice place to stop for a break. You can see good views of the beach here too.
Got to he car park, and like the couple next to us, we were wondering what happened to the memorial. There was no sign of a monument or "sign" to direct us to the walkway to see it. We only saw it when we drove off to Westport. Gabrielle Saville of Wellington
