It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing cocktails , food and desserts ... love this place specially the staff .. great customer service and very helpful. Such a wonderful vibe, atmosphere and service. The restaurant looks stunning after new referbishments. They cater for everyone and at a very affordable price. Quality of food has improved drastically. I would definitely go back
Haven't dined at Valentines in years but got invited to a Sunday lunch at the Wairau Rd branch. We'll where do I start, the new design of the establishment is amazing especially the way food is now placed out it looks very professional. Now to the bad, the food is horrible starting with powdered mashed potatoes, the pork ribs especially the larger pieces were not fully cooked and well food in general is just bland I was hoping to have a better experience but unfortunately another let down. Its still a cheap establishment to dine at but personally I will not be returning again to dine.
Was truly wonderful, celebrated a 70th birthday lunch with my husband. The staff were awesome, the food was more than great. And the restaurant was a place where we would recommend to our family and friends. Many thanks to the staff for their friendly service. And the personal service you gave to my husband and myself. Thank you for the birthday treat along with the card signed by the staff. Your attention to Diners, is awesome. Thank you from us both. Yes we will return. Bless you all.
Extremely good, the staff are super friendly and helpful. Very clean and a great selection of dishes, salads and deserts. I have been going here for the past 20 years and with the new look it has got even better! Thanks guys. Definitely see you again! Great service A

The ribs tasted funny, also was smelling a bit off... The chickpea salad also smells funny N test a bit weird, I had to leave as my partner was not feeling well after that, I also ended my visit with a very bad upset stomach it was not funny for hours...a birthday lunch out and Three of our group members also had upset stomach and Running to the toilet all afternoon..Hardly much Meat choice's to pick from for a 35 dollar lunch. Compliments to the chef on the BBQ and Everyone's service was spectacular, a lot of restaurant can learn a thing or two from them. Excellent
A classy renovation and some great new cook-to-order options makes this a fantastic option for special occasions. If you haven't been for a while, definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed.
