Food was over cooked had to wait 30mins coz the lady battled to operate the till then charged me 16.50 for a jug of export 33? It's always the same as all other jugs everywhere I've been. If I had have known I would got another beer the same price as all the rest. No heads up. Been here for years one staff member (the till operator was rude) but I've come here a few times a year bringing people down to show them the facility. Feels like it's going downhill compared to how it was. Real shame. Never payed that for a jug anywhere in my life!!!

Absolutely fantastic place to eat, drink or have some fun with ten pin bowling. Situated next to the Ascot Motel the Galleon Family Complex has a bar with bar food, a restaurant with a great menu which includes senior portions at very reasonable prices. You can share a meal with your partner including the dessert. Sarah and Rose our waitresses were fantastic and very helpful to our needs. If you are passing through Oamaru or live in the area, this is a great place to go to for your meals, a drink, or a game of ten pin.
