Great place has pretty much all your needs even down to Vegan Cheese Cake. Well stocked and would definitely recommend.

It has a decent selection of groceries and other food stuffs. Can get quite busy when everyone gets off the mountain.

Thank you New World Ohakune for being there in Ohakune. I was visiting the mountain town last month and reached there after 6pm (summer days when the sun set was around 9pm) but almost every other takeaway or food point was closed....may be that's because it was next day after Boxing day... so got some patties, buns, sauce etc from here to make burgers for dinner. Thank Goodness you are there...keep it up!

Got charged twice the amount of the price displayed for the chicken salad I purchased. I told the lady at the counter but she said she would check. The person that checked didn't really care and said yea... its the wrong price... still double charged me. Terrible customer service and misleading pricing. Make sure you are not being overcharged at the Ohakune new world.

Smaller New World with basic stock. Runs out of some specials.....so need to be quick. Under pressure when ski season or long weekends.

Heck if you want too get all you need on a budget, or cook in, or just need some tasty beverages to dance the night away... has almost everything baby wash to red wine err umm after I promise... bread to BBQ sausages.. mmm food... oh yeah easy as.
