I love walking here. There is a 1 km walk around the lake. Lots of water birds
Picnic sites are very windy as the wind comes right off the lake. Walk around until you find a decent sheltered spot. Could do with a lot more maintenance too, photos available may set your expectations too high as well.
This is a great spot to take a short walk around, or relax in one of seated areas. Could also kayak around on the lake, nice calm water for young people
Could do with a more defined track but it's still a good walk around the outside of the old pit
It's a lovely short walk around a pond which was once a shingle pit.
Fantastic little walk, about 1km around the water, plenty of bird life and places to picnic!
