Must Do. Worth stopping in to get all the info needed on the area. Very helpful/friendly staff. Landscaping around building a must-see. Short Wet-lands walk lovely.

Very nice to have a walk around and a read
A surprising place with not just maps and brochures, but with a large informative area about the Maori history, geology, forests and bird life of the area.
The lady at the reception should learn how to greet people. She has no customer care. When I entered, the lady was on phone and did not even looked at us or did not smile. Looked like not bothered at all about our presence. There was nobody else in the office/shop. She must learn good manners. I just left the shop. I visited there with my two kids on 30/9/2020 at 12.45 pm. Very poor service.
Stopped at the picnic table outside the centre. good trip over the pass so was time to stretch our legs
Young Staff member was less than helpful.
