I called into Shebikeshebikes in Omakau about 1 wk ago and Mathew was on duty. I wanted to get some chain oil.Mathew went far beyond and checked tyre pressure etc. That very day I received a puncture while on the Otago Rail Trail. I had a brand new electric bike. After trying to fix the puncture which had more than 1 hole I cld not remove the tube. The tools that came with my bike didnt fit the bike so as to remove the wheel and insert a new tube. So a ph call to Mathew. Mathew drove out to meet me at a road end with all the right tools to remove my wheel and change tube. This was a Sunday afternoon and Mathew was friendly and a life saviour. He is a credit to the company.

Hired an E bike for my lovely wife to do a portion of the rail trail. Really easy to deal with, plenty of information. They even have an after hours return option. Nice bike that was well maintained. No chance of keeping up with her on my 'normal' bike. Perfect way to see the rail trail.
Highly recommend! We called on the morning of our ride (not that i recommend being as unprepared as us!). SheBikesHeBikes fitted us in and provided a great service including bikes perfectly fitted to us. They took us out to Auripo and provided loads of interesting info about the area on the way out. Super friendly and good value for money.
Excellent service. Shuttle back to Clyde from Middlemarch 10/04/19. Took our key back to Omakau camp ground (which we took with us by mistake) instead of us running it along in the rain. Very friendly, great sense of humour! Excellent finish to a wonderful 4 days.
Amazing
Really good place to hire bikes from. We had their 'comfort' bikes which I found easy to use. We were able to borrow panniers for both bikes to save us using rucksacks. Helpful staff; we were given a demo on the bikes before we left (how gears etc. work - don't ride very often!) and knowledgeable on the area. After a day in the sun on the bikes we were also given a tip on where to go for a dip in a lake on our way to our next stop. Excellent!
Cycled the amazing Rail Trail with my mum in January. SheBikesHeBikes was fantastic. Highly recommended. They were the best value for money, quick to respond via email, and were very flexible with our requestions. The accommodation booked was lovely. If you have a chance, stay in Waipiata at Peter's Farm Lodge. Will return to cycle the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold trails with SheBikesHeBikes in the future.
