the food is in a very good quality, the stuff very helpful... but, unfortunatly, its not a original japanese cook... you can see it on details, japanese cooks never use dressing
Good outing or dining for couple or with family. The music played was not too loud thus not disturbing your conversation. Pricing relatively cheaper than Timaru or Dunedin. The menu is quite comprehensive with many type of Japanese dishes to choose from. I am happy with the varieties. Good job. Sure to return.

Picked up some take sways last night. Very helpful staff as I had no idea what was on the menu he explained everything and guided me to the better deals. It was a little pricey (the same cost as dinning in the restaurant). I was happy with the food and would return again. Would like to see slightly lower prices for take away.
Authentic Japanese cuisine. Lovely casual local's atmosphere. Delicious fresh low fuss Japanese exactly as I remember it from childhood in Japan. Highly recommend. Slightly off the beaten track and definitely worth seeking out.
