Nice wide pathways to walk along - we didn't venture too far into the forest. Access to tree areas is restricted by wire fencing. Will go back to explore other areas.
Great first time ride at Waiuku Forest for me. We got ourselves lost and some lovely dog walkers sent us homeward! Loved it!
Such a cool place for a day out. Look over the port Waikato bar. Loved iy.
17 minute bike ride from the carpark to the river mouth. A few hills.
Love the walk. Not to far from Pukekohe Can walk to the beach as well
Beautiful forest. Good for walking, trail running and biking (on metal road). I went for a walk with my dog at 4.30-5.30pm and by the time I got back to the car it was quite dark so either stick to the road and take a torch or go earlier. Gate closes at 6pm.
Nice, quiet forest with a nice path to walk on. Friendly horse riders who stop and don't mind introducing their steed to kids.
