Clean, quiet and remote. We had a really nice stay in a place that felt homely. When we came back on our second day, our towels had been replaced with new clean ones. The owners were being very welcomning without being clingy. Make this place your first priority when needing a place to sleep near Arthur's Pass.
The owners were very responsive and friendly. The kitchen and den were immaculately clean and well stocked. The room was very nice, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!
This is a great backpackers. All facilities are tidy and well prepared. Price is cheaper than I expect with this service.
Absolutely loved the quaint Rata Lodge. Almost felt more like a B&B. Owners were extremely welcoming. Kitchen was small but very clean.
