Well priced, conveniently located, clean, friendly. Hosts with good local knowledge. Hop, skip and a jump from the beautiful Surrat Bay. Often the haunt of New Zealand Sea Lions. Within two minutes walk of a pub and three other eateries. Personal favourite? Bake House Takeaways on the main highway, buy a burger or some fish and drive down to the waterfront at Pounawea a few minutes away.
Lovely and homely room's! Beds are really comfortable and the showers are high pressured. Lovely views from outside the room of the baby lambs! Sarah and Trev are lovely hosts and welcoming! 10/10 recommend!
Great place to stay and has everything you would want. Good location and would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting the area. There was sheep there but they ran away when we went up to the fence

Lovely welcome on arrival by staff. Very clean and tidy place to stay. Highly recommend to anyone who wants exceptional value for money. Young girl at local pub is an asset to the town. Very chatty and very helpful.
Decent place to stay compared to some in the area. Clean and tidy but did wonder about the laundry being done after the time stated on notice.
Don't be fooled by the outside. These motels are clean, very comfortable and good value. Friendly host. Enjoyed our stay. Would happily go back.
