Pounawea is a beautiful place, it's incredibly serene , it's a place to go if you want to get away from the hustle of cities. The best place for kids everything is so close . There's a park , nature tracks and of course the beach and also just beautiful Vistas whatever direction you look. And you can see by my photos how much my dog loves the place too.
A small settlement with great views over the water, if you haven't been. Go, it's worth it, even to just spend a short while there.
Lovely seaside community, very friendly locals. Great for families.
All l can say awesome place to visit and relax
Always a great time at Pounawea. If not walking the dogs, plenty of birdlife from spoonbills to herons. Take your camera. Collecting cockles is fun at the right time of tide, check it out before you come to Pounawea.
Best kept, no don't go there nothing to see.
