Derek was Awesome ! His boat is incredible, with top quality gears ! We loved our trip and learned plenty of tips for our boat fishing in Wellington! Caught a Kingy, snapper and had fun with heaps of kahawaii on lures. Derek even filleted the snapper and gave us the address to the best fish and chips in town ! We will definitely come back ! Thanks again for everything!

Derek is THE MAN!!!! He was an absolute legend from the moment we stepped foot on his gorgeous big fish boat. He was so fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took us to some beautiful fishing spots but also went out of his way to show us amazing sights. I would absolutely go on this charter again for all our holidays for years to come. Thanks for everything Derek! We had a fishing trip we’ll never forget. Hope we catch that Marlin w ya next time!!!
Highly reccommend fishing with Big Fish, Captain Derek. The boat and gear is prestine. Very knowlegable and truly knows how to get results. We had a private charter of three, with both sons catching a good size Kingfish and Snapper, thanks Derek for an awesome charter experience
