Really bad customer service , I was going to buy a item but the zip seemed like it might break I asked if that if it does break if I can bring it back they said no which goes against new Zealands consumer guarantees act . I will be reporting them. Everything is heavily overpriced . I would not recommend not going there . Very very rude as well just to top it off. I think the store might need to train their staff on NewZealand laws and also new Zealand people as they were not friendly at all. Not the kiwi way very disappointed.

It was alright but my toy gun broke as expected and I checked there sight and it said they where still open until 5 30 so I walked down and it closes at four.
Very rude store manager that told our children to not play with stock and to put it back not knowing that we were actually holding the stuff we wanted to buy and he kept saying we need to put it back and not play with the stock. We left without buying anything. Very bad customer service - not going back there again. Many other lovely local shops to consider and to purchase gifts from
I rarely write poor reviews, however, after my experience yesterday I feel like I must. About 5 minutes after entering the store with my 2 children I was looking at a plastic Halloween mask when a man appeared yelling at me, telling me not to touch. I started to explain that I was about to buy the item when he screamed "I not sell you or your kids anything!" He then began screaming in Chinese and my daughter ran out of the shop (she's 11 years old), in fear. I honestly thought the guy was about to hit me so I told him to step back when an eldery lady in the shop interjected. I realised the comotion was escalating so I quickly left the shop with the man screaming after us. At no point had we done anything in the shop other than brows a few small items before we were approached, so I warn anyone (particulary if you have small children), to avoid this shop and use the many other lovely shops, in the beautiful town of Paihia.

Cheap shop with a good range of low priced products. Staff were helpful in directing me to a store that sold the postcards I was after.
