Some of the kid referees need more experience before being put onto the court. Is also a real shame that kids who win a division are not offered Medals like they used to be. They work hard all season and deserve to be rewarded for their hard work.

Frustrating to get in touch with who ever is in charge, phone calls never get answered, never get a response from texts or emails, could be run better

My experience with this association over this past year is not great. My 19 year old son was assulted during a semi finals game last week after he pushed a player due to frustration of being constantly Fouled and abused on court. My son the victim of the assault has now been penalised and been stood down from playing in the grand final game this Wednesday. My sons dream crushed and a whanau feeling as though we have all been punished for the repeated bad sportsmanship, attitude and behaviour of one man! Yes “man” He is a Teacher at a local high school here in the Manawatu he is a Maori man! Which is even more disappointing and he is supposed to be a role model and mentor for our Rangatahi. I believe the decision that has been made to stand my son down is ridiculous and I believe is comes from personal issues towards my son.
