A fantastic service. Bernice is a great therapist and was able to build good rapport with my son early on. She knows her stuff but it is her adaptability and gentle manner that really helped to make these sessions fun and successful. She provides realistic home activities to reinforce skills taught and encourages parent input. It has been a very worthwhile experience for us.

I am happy to write a review for Speechie - my daughter was 3 when diagnosed with a speech problem and it took the government speech therapist a long time to get in touch with us and the gaps between her visits were very long. During my daughter's before school check, I was advised about Speechie and made contact with Elisa immediately. Speechie assessed Elizabeth in the first visit and because I live in Dannevirke, my appointments were fortnightly. The progress my daughter made in this time was incredible. The activities and guidelines supplied by speechie were colourful and my daughter enjoyed doing them. I am a primary school teacher and know the long gaps in between the government's visits and to be honest they are far too long and the assessments are always done so the activities don't progress as fast as speechie. The service speechie provides with a mobile van is amazing. The van parked outside the school in Dannevirke and we had a speech therapy session during the lunch hour. My daughter loved the activities she had to do and her speech has really grown from strength to strength. I have a lot of gratitude for the service that Speechie provided. Very professional and supportive.
