***Edit*** please update your opening hours on Google, Facebook and on your front door!! It was disappointing to arrive and to see it closed on the Wednesday night, after planning the night around your opening hours! Such an awesome place for a night out. My partner and I were planning to move onto other bars nearby but ended up staying for around 3 hours on a Saturday night just working through their cocktail list. All the cocktails are spectacular for a really good price. If you're looking for sweet, fruity cocktails or even stronger ones (some have 4 to 6 shots of spirits per cocktail), this is the place to visit.

Was fabulous thank you. Made my friend's birthday celebration really special with the cocktails & nibbles. Music was terrific too!
This is not a high end chic cocktail bar I would say a very tired decor from a mixed 60-70’s that requires a lot of work Cocktails served with over half ice where as should be shaken with ice and strain from ice so very watered. No fancy accompaniments served with cocktails. The staff were very attentive and courteous and the lone keyboard player was good , shame about the ambience. Around 9 pm table was full empty glasses and wait time was around 30 mins before next drink, totally unacceptable. If prebooked table bar should allow for extra catering on night. Not recommended for cocktail night out.
Was not very impressed, came in two weeks ago just on a Saturday night. Ordered drinks at 11:55pm, and by 12.25am had still not received ours, had witnessed the bar staff arguing when I had asked about the whereabouts of our drinks after the first 15 minutes, also watched people who ordered well after us receive their drinks before us. When I went up and asked for a refund I was met with snarky comments from the bar maiden about how they had to serve the entire bar and our drinks were being made now (which they weren’t), no apology or even an offer of a partial refund and still giving us our drinks that we had waited half an hour for. As someone who has worked in a busy pub I find this really unprofessional and distasteful. The fish used to be my favorite bar but it has clearly changed in the last few years.
Always a good time here. Great cocktails avaliable and the Bar tenders know their stuff. If you're feeling brave, try a "Brave Dave" or 3
The variety of cocktails is pretty decent, nice atmosphere. Fried chicken is tender enough, would go great with a glass of beer.
Slow service. Very unimpressed
Palmerston North isn't known for cocktails. This is the best place you'll get in this quiet city. Cocktails are a strong adequate, not amazing but the best you'll get.
