Great traditional kiwi style bakery. Great value, great quality, good assortment and friendly staff. Don't expect the tasteless chain-style produce that you see in places like "the bakehouse or Hollywood" bakeries. Simon, Tracey and their staff have a passion for proper baking and this shows in their goods. Our neighbourhood loves Rise bakery. 5 stars!

Wow what a find. Great coffee and amazing food. Possibly the best bakery I have ever been to. Friendly staff. Sourdough bread yum. Best chocolate croissant ever! Cant wait to go back

Their sandwiches and dessert are great! Perfect for weekend picnic. Price is pretty cheap and affordable ) Kids love their food as well. Toast is not that great but other than that, I love here )

Awesome pies and food. very poor customer service. We have been in multiple times and each time there has been a woman who has served us, from the moment you walk into the store she looks at you like you shouldn't be in there. No smile, no welcome. When asking for the food it seems in inconvenience her greatly. I would recommend having a chat with staff members to ensure this isn't a consistent thing. The only reason we have been back is because of how amazing your pies are.. but its definitely not a great look.

My test for a bakery is their Bacon and Egg pie. These guys score well here. Eccles cakes, yummy strudel, wonderfull heavy fruitcake. And a very pleasant young fella serving.
