Tastiest chicken wings and apple crumble cider. Pizza was just as tasty. Staff very friendly and a lot of places to sit.

Enjoyed our night, had the pulled pork burger, it was a little lacking in flavour, needed more something. Generally a good place to take kids.
It says open until 11 pm, we arrived at 9.15pm and "Bar is close".. so you know why theres no many people going to this place. Thats great.. I know for the next time just go to Astrolabe
I was detained by staff for over an hour here on New Years Eve for no reason. They gave me no information as to why they were holding me. This is called arbitrary and unlawful detention. I spoke to or interacted with nobody other than the friend I came with in the 30 minutes I was there, so it can't have been because of my behaviour. This is called profiling. After over an hour and no communication, I was interrogated about being on or holding Class A drugs. I was not. They thought I was on pingers and held me unlawfully with no evidence. That's not even legal for police to do. Quite troubling.
We really enjoyed our meal and beers. interesting food and well prepared. Annie
Great beers and burgers, good vibes and amazing service. Shout out to the hot German waitress who was dealing with us all night, we definitely come back!
Lovely venue revamp but sad the see the soul has been lost. Didn’t seem anywhere near as busy when we visited on prime time Sunday. Perhaps it’s something to do with the new brand and menu - 15 for a very average chicken burger (not including chips which are an addition 5!). The whole thing stinks of a cynical repositioning the venue to price out families and attempt a cash-in on Papamoa’s ongoing gentrification. Bring the old Pap Tav we know and love back!!!!
I love this place, would be a five star, but super sad to see the pizza pit be moved around the other side. We used to love the vibe out in the child free area and live music on sundays, a shame it's always being re arranged, when we came in on Sunday it was almost empty on that side And when Dune opened the last time as a cafe, I had one of the best breakfasts in Tauranga, also a shame it's not a cafe anymore.
