Kathmandu is a good shop as they have a good variety with their product range, having purchased some products off them from time to time. I have only taken an outside photo because staff advised me I had to go through head office in Auckland. So with respect to their advice interior store photos are not taken. This although disappointing is understandable. Nonetheless I am happy to review the rating if contacted.

Poor service. I cant remember the last time I had a problem with any businesses customer service over the years. Ive never written a complaint on a public place like this either. I feel as though I've been palmed off and thrown on the "grumpy customer pile" and not delt with properly. I use to work in customer service so know how I would deal problems. will be avoiding this place now.

Just called in the Palms to purchase a pair of shoes and had to ask for service after 5mins of staff talking to each other . The guy gave me the shoes and never came back to me after 20mins. He was rude and the lack of customer service is disgusting. People like these do not deserve to have a job. Hence I walked out with no shoes. Someone else will now get my business. This was my husbands experience.

Took daughters school Kathmandu back pack that she has used at secondary school for last 3 years, in for repair the week before Christmas. Had a call in the first week of Jan to say repair was done! Fast, cheap (20) and very helpful service. Didn't know Kathmandu did repairs to their products until an absolute random conversation - will definitely tell others!!!

Purchased two hiking packs. The salesman was very helpful, assisted with purchasing the right gear for what we were doing. Went the extra mile and unpacked the pack, made adjustments to ensure it was a great fit.
