Specsavers Audiology fitted my grandma with hearing aids recently and they have been amazing! Ingrid the audiologist is so wonderful and friendly, and she really helped my grandma to adjust smoothly into her hearing aids. She is very patient and willing to go the extra mile to make sure her patients are comfortable and satisfied with their experience which I think is lovely I would definitely recommend going through Specsavers Audiology

I visited the audiologists Ingrid at Northlands with my 91 year old mother. Mum had tried hearing aids with another provider but did not have a good experience with putting them in, so was very sceptical Ingrid would be successful. Ingrid was so patient and thorough with Mum. We have had 2 follow up visits just to make sure everything was working for my mum. Mum was very comfortable with Ingrid and we are pleased to report mum loves her hearing aids. There was also the added benefit she could return within 3 months and get a full refund. Thanks Ingrid you are a star.

I had my ears tested here and went through the ACC for funding and ACC assessed my case and agreed it is from industrial deafness, all good to this point. Turns out because it is ACC funded they charge nearly 2.5 times the amount for fitting my hearing aids than they charge private patients, in other words they were cooking the books to get the maximum from ACC. This is dishonest and hence on principle I will go elsewhere for my hearing aids and because this dishonesty is probably not just in the Audiology part of the business, I shall also go elsewhere for my reading glasses in the future as well.

I am very upset with my experience at this branch! Some of the staff were really rude. I’ve been to other branches before and they’ve been really nice but I felt very disrespected here. I will definitely not go back there again. I made two appointments back to back for me and my husband for eye test on a Saturday, as we have a 6 month old son and we needed the other person to look after him once one of us was inside. As we were leaving the house before my appointment things got a bit out of hand with our baby, as it sometimes does, and we left home 10 minutes before my appointment. We had a 15 minute drive so I thought I would call to let them know I would be 5 minutes late. The person who answered the phone told me he understood my situation but if I was 10 minutes late I would lose my appointment. Well turned out traffic wasn’t in my favour and I got there 13 minutes late. The lady behind the counter told me the guy has put a notice that he has warned me about losing my appointment and she rescheduled it for another day. I was really disappointed because it meant I had to go there without my husband which could be difficult with the baby but up until this point things were ok as I thought I’ve got to respect the rules. Well my husband was next but as we were there on time for his appointment, we had to wait more than 20 minutes to be called in! I thought well if my appointment was going to be 20 minutes late I shouldn’t have lost it and I thought I would discuss this with them maybe I could see the optometrist the same day. The lady behind the counter seemed sympathetic or so I thought because she said she would go and check but never got back to me and she just passed me a few times completely ignoring me. When i went back to talk to someone else turned out he was the same person I talked to on the phone and he was rude and told me being 10 minutes late I had lost half my appointment and it didn’t matter that I would’ve had to wait there for 20 minutes.

I have always been a little skeptical about Specsavers as a whole but the service you receive from this branch is brilliant. Always happy to help and solve problems for you. I am very happy with my last visit.

I had a free eye test with my work. They measured my glasses and compared them to what I needed. I like the fact they told me I dont have to update them. I thought given that it was free I would be pushed into glasses but it was just a nice Optometrist lady who reassured me.
