Farmers are a brand and there is little to distinguish between branches. There point of difference is the staff. Farmers Kapiti have friendly and helpful staff. Makes the visit.

Had a horrible experience here recently with an an employee (short haired woman, name-tag said Chrissie / Christine?). She was overly rude to me and made me feel unwelcome and as if I never wanted to come into the store again. The person I was with also was also taken aback by her demeanour. We have both never experienced such a horrible woman. Apart from that, the store was well stocked and nice, but will not be returning because of this employee.

I spoke to a very helpful lady in the homewares department I think her name was Rose. They didn't have what I needed but she looked up the item on the computer just to make sure. Excellent customer service.
