We have been a customer of Godfreys consistently since 2006. Fantastic salesmen over the years they have got better and sharper but their products are next to useless. Paid over 1200 after having been sold their Wertheim vacuum cleaner, what an utter waste of money, overpriced pile of junk, its spent more time in the repairers that it has been used and can we get an exchange for another cheaper hoover. Not on your life, we even paid for an extended warranty,, so buyer beware. I'm a supporter of buying locally but not of getting ripped off locally. P.S anyone want to buy a hardly used Wertheim system?

After telling the sales person I had around 230 to spend he proceeded to try and sell me a 2000 vacumme!! He wasted my time and his I was not impressed that he ignored my price range and didnt listen to me not once but a number of times. He even tried to sell me finance to pay it off I Would not recommend or visit again. But I would recommend the Porirua Godfrey's who listened to me and sold me the perfect vacumme thank you Godfreys Porirua !!

Do not buy from these people. Very poor customer service. Useless knowledge of the products they sell. Had a problem with Hoover Tornado (DO NOT BUy THIS MODEL). Lost its amazing suction after 6 months !! Told me I wasn't cleaning the filters properly !! 3 sets of new filters later they said I had damaged the motor with dry powder carpet cleaner. If this was so, why was the suction very powerful when you take the cylinder away? By this time the warrant was out of date !! Now have a new vacuum from somewhere else. Will never ever set foot in Godfreys again
