Loved staying at Rivertime Lodge. Right on the banks of the river, with cabins as well as a wonderful shearers quarters lodge, it was a perfect. Very comfortable - everything you need. We stayed as part of cycling mountains to sea bike ride

Whilst the location of the lodge is quite beautiful, there were a few issues: 1stly no working wifi so it was impossible to make any forward plans without internet access. 2ndly the food pack promised did not live up to expectations being overpriced for what we got. However the fact that the new owners do not live local to the site & have yet to update the website from the previous owners probably goes some way to explain that. 3rdly the shower only produces a dribble of water - but that's the most minor niggle. Overall a pleasant enough stay tho.
Geräumige Lodge direkt am Fluss, einsam und allein, nachts der Sternenhimmel über uns. Ein Traum! Gut ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, viel Platz. Sehr sauber. Bei Bedarf kann man Essen vorbestellen, die Besitzerin Gill bringt das warme Essen vorbei, kümmert sich auch so um die Gäste. Wir haben viel über Schafzucht, Wollpreise und Angus Rinder erfahren. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind.
