Loulou Loves Cake

I flipping LOVE the Auckland Museum and make sure I visit every single time I'm in Aucks. The staff are fab, friendly, top notch helpful peeps, the toilets are always fresh and sparkling, and there's just so much to see and do. And when it gets too insidey, you can pop outside and lay on the lawn, and no-one gives a damn! Wander down to the Wintergarden for an added treat.

Parking was really hard and we thought it was going to be a nightmare inside being school holidays but were surprised there was no queues and spacing was great. Its a shame alotof the artwork are prints on board now rather than originals it seems but other than that its an enjoyable afternoon out. The Cafe is more of a restaurant with restaurant pricing though so we ate elsewhere afterward. The only thing I found not great was it was very hot inside so not really an escape from the summer heat

Any visitor to Auckland must visit the museum. Not only is it a World class museum but it’s location, within The Auckland Domain, is magnificent. Visit the museum, stroll The Domain and take in the panoramic views of Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf

Great museum with lots of thing to learn. They have plenty of things to exhibit. It is situated heart of the city and easily accessible by car and even Auckland transport bus services is there. There so much thing for everyone from parents to kids. Learn about Maori culture. Highly recommended.
