Where to start...I guess first would be the customer service. Top notch customer service and advice. I went there to upgrade my daughters fish tank. I was shown all the options and they price match if another pet store has it cheaper. Then I was shown the accessories to go with the new tank and what would work with the existing accessories I already had. Having a café there is a nice touch too.

Love Pet Central Papanui - it’s the best pet store in Christchurch - my fur baby loves daycare, the shop has EVERYTHING you could ever want/need from a pet store and being able to bring your pet with you for a puppuccino is so special - if you’ve got a pet - make sure you visit!!

I'm a recent convert to Pet Central, since it opened in Papanui. To be honest, before I visited, I wasn't that fussed about a big pet store, but I am really impressed and now visit pretty regularly with my dog. I'd like to commend the company on the staff that they have employed - it is clear that everyone who works there absolutely adores animals. The food at the cafe is fantastic - fresh and tasty and good value and it's great to dine with my pup, who always gets so well looked after. Special shoutout to Marina and crew who run the doggy daycare - they are so good with all the dogs and it is clear that they love it - their enthusiasm is infectious and I know my dog is in great hands

Staff were wonderful. But the store is arranged by brand rather then grouping for example all the leads, which makes it really hard to see all the options of an item.
