Picton Marina And Harbour Is The Main Gateway To The South Island! The Entrance To The Picton Marina And Harbour Is Through The Stunning And Beautiful Marlborough Sounds, With Breathtaking Scenery Of Lush Green Mountains On The Righthand Side, And The Even More Spectacular Views Of More Green Hillsides Adorned By The Modern Homes And The Area Known As The Waikawa Bay On The Left Hand Side, Then Straight Ahead Is The Awesome View Of Picton Main Shopping Area, And Surrounding District. As The Ferry Is Approaching The Wharf To Berth There Is The Numerous Opportunity For Photographers Both Pro And Amateur To Take Photos. Welcome To Picton The Gateway To The South Island. Overall nice newish facility, however maintenance and management is poor. Broken toilet seat for over a year in public rest room, pay and display machine keyboard malfunctioning for several years meaning you can't put your registration in properly, and marina manager particularly unhelpful.
