Great walk! Very much uphill and a bit slippery after a rain. Views were nice and seeing NZ Robins is always a wonderful experience.
Good place for exercise. Not an easy walk :) Good for a work out. Track is okay in dry weather. Slippery when wet. Views and bush are okay.
Great walk up to the summit! 4.5km by my garmin. Sunny on the first 1/3 if you're there before midday, native bush for the rest keeps you shaded but you'll still sweat on the hills. Stairs for the last 1/3 of the hike and they are moderate/well maintained. Summit has a nice platform and cone with shade to relax in. All of the track is relatively clear and well marked.
It is a good walk. Track is in great condition.
Beautiful walk with views for miles
Easier than anticipated. Pity we couldn't get a view from summit due a Waikato foggy day. However easier enough that we could return on a clear day.
Great views spots, beautiful bird calls and natural flora. Wish there were more routes other than the only one. Great lookoit from the top!
