Probably the best carbonara I’ve ever had in NZ, pizza was delicious too. Staff are really helpful when you’re not sure what you wanna order, we also talked to the chefs for a long time as it was empty and they are really friendly and cool.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Best best pizza I have ever had! Being a pizza lover (this is my favourite food- we even have our own Ooni pizza oven), this is honestly the best pizza I have had in my life. Very very tiny little spot, so best book a table. Swiftly get your drinks (ice cold Peroni on tap) and the food follows soon. We ordered the Con Prosciutto and Fungo. Money well spent x100! We will be back and back and back again...

The service is lovely, and the setting quaint. We ordered a pasta each, and although it fit the description, we both longed for a little something more. The sauces on both pastas were adequate, but perhaps lacked a five star depth. I just felt I could have made the pasta at home. We THEN ordered a Woodfire pizza to go which was an 8/10.

Amazing food!!! My wife and I tried a Carne pizza and Spaghetti Carbonara in Ponsonby branch. Everything was so fresh with great seasoning. The dough was so perfect. Authentic pizza. Cosy vibe. Would definitely go back.

Been to Dante’s several times and we have never been disappointed. Tonight however the pizzas we ordered were very average at best. Toppings were ‘ watery’, which made for a not so flavour some pizza. If this had been our first visit, I wouldn’t be going back. Still can’t decide if it’s worth another visit!

Great Woodfired pizza, and authentic Napoletana taste. Their bases are sourdough based which are gluten free friendly, fluffy and delicious. Fast service and quick arrival of food. Only complaint was that it was a bit tight for space so keep your elbows in.

Very good customer service, but was expecting a yummier pizza. Definitely not going back if going out for pizza

Haven't tried any pasta dishes here (yet!) but have had pizzas to takeaway as well as to eat in and they are soooo good. Maybe can vary a little depending on staff? But still our go-to in Ponsonby for pizzas.
