This place has really upped its game. The menu and food has improved to the point where even my most discerning foodie friends declared their mean "fantastic...best pork belly I've had." All the plates on the table were clean. Really good food...great pub-style options as well as fancier stuff, all done well. Good portions. Great beverage selections including a vast gin and tonic menu. I had a chocolate ginger g&t that was delightfully different. So happy to see so many gf options as well. Great ambiance. Definitely go.

As visitors from out of the region, we didn't have great hopes when we set out to find somewhere to eat in Kaiapoi. We found this gem with delicious food, surprisingly good cider, a bubbly, friendly but not overpowering waitress and a pleasant riverside setting in which to enjoy them. Highly recommended.
Good range of choices on the menu food was great, service excellent and the location is perfect.

A great place to hang out with a beer and wedges.Its the setting with the river and seating it fantastic asset for the river town try it you will love.

Nice food, good beer, and great environment. Service could be improved a wee bit. We had one staff member who had the personality of a mop, but another was fantastic. Overall highly recommend
By far the best place to go for a drink in Kaiapoi!! Its clean and tidy and has an excellent service and choice of drinks and food. Always love going here.
