First and last kennel experience. Our much loved family dogs came back horribly sick with well set in conjunctivitis, kennel cough and covered in injuries due to pure neglect. We were only notified of the injuries upon collection of them, but there was no recognition of our pets being “sick” at all. The manager denied absolutely everything and regarded the 21 deep facial wounds as just a wee scratch. She checked him over herself she said and when I said it wasn’t good enough she continued to argue with me and give me more excuses Eg they were BUSY! Eventually the owner came to the party, apologised, was professional in manner and accepted our concerns, she did not deny them but sadly no type of refund or compensation for vet bills offered, therefore I understood they were not bothered to help resolve the issues we had. My dog Luka, who I never once, had any health issues with, had never had any type of injury, our perfect humble boy, passed away not long after due to injuries that are unexplained. We are so heartbroken and traumatised with these results, we lost a family member and have been put off going on holiday again. Do not send your dogs here. This pain and regret of trusting another human with my dog will live with me forever.

Fantastic place.My busy wee dog loves going to stay with Lisa, as soon as we turn up the drive he starts barking to get out and he runs to the door and when he sees Lisa he jumps all over her for cuddles .. Would highly recommend them

I can't recommend Paws Inn enough! Lisa took such good care of my dog for the month I was away, as if he was her own. She has underfloor heating, blankets, jackets and beds and kept him safe and warm even in the very cold Dunedin winter. If you are looking for a kennel in Dunedin to take the very best care of your dog then DEFINITELY choose Paws Inn!
