Well although I got stung by a wasp on the ear it is a great place to take the family and the dogs and go for a walk, lots of parking and some nice spots to have lunch.

Plenty of different route and loops to take. From the car park I started up Scotts Track - this was quite muddy, narrow and slippy in places, so good footwear is recommended. I then diverted off to the ridge track, which was much easier going. I went down to Pudding Hill stream, 10 minutes down, 15 back up. Then I followed Alder track back to the car park. 5.5km, 360m elevation gain.
