Fantastic service (currently Level 2). Friendly staff. Beautiful setting. Lovely well kept grounds. Nice drive out of Auckland; not too far out. Lovely shop. Highly recommend. We had the creamy mushrooms with bacon and the Belgian Waffles. Very tasty. So full we didn’t grab a takeaway ice cream.
Very nice breakfast and lovely gardens to just sit and enjoy your meal. They have a nice fenced children's play area and ducks we didn't get any cheese but will be back next time for a day trip! Also the ice-cream looks amazing and been told by friends it's a have to try but didn't feel like ice-cream after breakfast
We enjoyed our time at Puhoi Valley Cafe and have been a couple times so far. Beautiful area with fountains in the water, ducks, playground, and large outdoor eating facilities. The food is great as well as the service. It usually takes quite a while for the food to be ready but it's worth the wait. One downside today was strong waves of cow or animal droppings wafting by while sitting outside which isn't the most pleasant while eating. Hopefully it's not a regular occurrence. Thank you
Tucked away a few Kms from Puhoi itself is the place the local cheese is made at. Plus, they make a great coffee and nice cakes etc too. One of the best lunches is their home made soup etc. Nice food and also well priced cheeses are available. Sit outside and enjoy the view, kids play area too.
Limited menu options so ended getting cabinet food, but that was delicious! Chips were nice and hot but could have been a little crunchier (person preference though).
Great food but service needs complete rethink. Having to get up and join a 12 minute line each time you want another wine or more bread to go with your platter.... well it just sux
40 vegetarian cheese platter should be half the price, very poor value for money. Wine was well priced and pizza ok, needs to be cooked longer though
