27/02/2021… I injured my hand as a result of a fall. Everyone from the reception team and all the health professionals were friendly and welcoming. Emma and Diana were my nurses, and were outstanding. They were empathetic, and their knowledge and skills were apparent. I was seen by Dr Davidson, whose excellent communication skills enabled me to understand what was happening. I had an X-ray. Despite it being very close to when the radiographer was due to finish for the day, she was friendly, and I felt unhurried. The X-ray showed I had a fracture in my hand, and the Dr referred me to the hand specialists at Middlemore. The process for me was smooth and timely. I have massive respect for each member of the team who cared for me. I was delighted with the outcome. It was the people that all made the difference to my experience.

I went in because my heart was having palpitations and I'm not going to lie I was FREAKED OUT. The doctor that saw me, (Indian woman, didn't quite register her name as I was too worried about my heart) went above and beyond. She had the most compassionate and loving eyes I have ever seen in my life, she calmed me down and reassured me that I was alright. The nurse and receptionist were also very nice. Highly recommend this clinic.
Nurses and doctors are.lovely but the reception staff can be downright abrupt and rude.
Unfortunately it seems Urgent Care is understaffed resulting in long wait times which can be very tricky when it's your toddler that's sick or injured.
Did covid check but they didn't label it. Every time i called to check regarding my results they brushed me off saying they will txt me first. Finally on 3rd day they ask me to do another one because they haven't labelled it.
Staff are fabulous but having to pay 2x because they are privately run and don't work with middlemore or Papakura where they sent me to is unfair and not okay. This could be part of why the hospitals are overloaded. Apparently if I had gone back to middlemore I wouldn't have been charged. I needed an xray after 5pm Pukekohe don't offer this Urgent care Pukekohe sent me to Papakura. Papakura charge fair enough ACC fee, they feel I needed to go to middlemore after checking my xrays. Then after being discharged from middlemore the next day I went back to where I started and under the same acc number I have to pay another 45.00 because they didn't get paid the first time when they sent me to Papakura. That's not about people and what's right, that about and ticket clipping. I normally love these guys but this is really sad that the system not people still like the staff are great
Thank you so much for your incredible service yesterday during a very busy time of day. From the amazing ladies at reception, to the attentive and reassuring nurses and to the wonderful doctor who took time to listen. Being new to the area, we did not know what to expect and were very impressed. Highly recommend
The staff here are phenomenal!! Starting with the lovely ladies on the desk all the way to the nurses and the doctors. I always get exceptional service (and we go down a lot for our son being so clumsy). Today I went down for myself and this was a first for me and I truly felt looked after. We definitely appreciate the hard working team at urgent care.
