Amazed by the selection and taste of locally made liquor, pizza was awesome and the host was so enthusiastic and lovely.
Driving up a gravelly road to a tasting done In a shipping container, we were already pretty happy with the stunning view of the bay that hits you immediately. The hospitality and depth of knowledge of the winemaker was exceptional, which paired perfectly with the quality of the varied alcohols based off local and foreign fruits. I've also never had as much fun tasting wines, as the winemaker had as laughing constantly despite my suspicion that I was only quick enough to catch half of his jokes. This is a must visit for those coming to cathedral cove.
On of the true delights in the area. Danny and team are awesome. Food and drinks even more so!
This was more than just a grape winery. They have all kinds of great liquors too. We went in thinking we would just taste and walked out with four bottles of various sorts. Fun experience and good tastings!
We go here a lot. The host Danny is amazing and the rest of the staff follow his lead. Everyone helps out and the result is a really friendly and casual beach bar experience that you won't find anywhere else. The pizzas are great, the kids meals are huge. You can even eat from the garden. Sitting under kiwifruit vines is a nice touch. RIP Purangi Winery. Can't wait for the grand opening of the new site.
Fantastic experience. Lovely time, very highly reccomended. A relaxed place with fantastic view and even better drinking! A real must do!
