Arrived late without booking and office closed. Took a while for night bell response but manager friendly and cheerful. Unit a bit dated but clean and fair price at 100. Good for a quick stopover

Great place for stop over set back off the road nice and quiet very clean and aewsome food cant wait till the next stay.
At 15 per night for a non-powered campsite the price reflected in the facilities, cheap, dated and dirty. Shared kitchen and bathroom wasn't cleaned during my 2 night stay and luckily I always take my own toilet paper and hand sanitizer because there wasn't any supplied. Website showed a clean swimming pool and a pool table but neither was usable nor for public use but no signage stating otherwise. Really disappointed as there was no other camping options in the township but was more than happy to leave that place behind. Most definitely would not recommend to anyone
Ronnie (the owner/manager) was very helpful and friendly. Our car broke down in Putaruru and for most of the time there was torrential rain. We stayed a night, but the next day we were waiting for our car to be repaired. Ronnie was very helpful/kind because he said that we could stay until our car was repaired - i.e. we did not need to check out at 10am. Ronnie also called the motor-mechanic's workshop for us (Central Motors), to see how the repairs were going. Our car was repaired in the afternoon, so that's when we left the motel.
Grubby. Run done facilities. Swimming pool green. Trampoline upside down broken with grass growing through it.
My bed was on a 16 degree angle due to a huge dent in the mattress, not fun
Nice little motel. Especially good their WiFi.
Very good hostpitality the rooms are abit old yet okay for a small town.
