Over The Top operate the most modern helicopters in New Zealand, distinctively All Black, the fleet incorporates the Eurocopter EC 130 B4, a 21st century helicopter with enhanced Safety Features and unsurpassed spaciousness with the 65 sq feet of windows allowing incredible views. Over The Top - the helicopter company and individual pilots are proud recipients of Safety Awards from the International and National Helicopter Associations along with an endorsement from the Prime Minister of New Zealand. Our Chief Pilot, Louisa (Choppy) Patterson has been flying in the area since 1976. This 36 years of mountainous experience is shared with her skilful crew who all delight in taking visitors on excursions to alpine lakes, fiords, rivers and glaciers to enjoy gourmet picnics, hiking, boating, extreme golf, wine tours, glamorous camping, fly fishing or heli skiing.
