A brilliant and must do adventure. Huw is professional and a great guide. The trip was absolutely stunning and a lot of fun. We had some young teens in our group and was worried about how they would go but they loved it! Highly recommend this small kiwi adventure tourism operator. Support the little guys.

Just had a fantastic day up the Rees Valley with Packrafting Queenstown. Huw was prompt and easy to deal with while booking and arranging times. Harry our guide was friendly and easy going. He knew HEAPS about the geography and history of the area which made the trip really interesting and informative for anyone looking to explore the area further. The walk was stunningly beautiful and the rafting was super fun and safe. Would recommend a trip to anyone. Thanks for an awesome day guys
This was an amazing experience. I have never done pack rafting before, and it was awesome! Our guide Seb was excellent, incredibly knowledgeable and very professional. Nothing was an effort for him, a true professional. Thank you for the experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get back to nature, push themselves out of their comfort zone and to have fun!
In April our group worked with Packrafting Queenstown to get the gear, supplies and knowledge we needed to test out the feasibility of our upcoming month-long expedition in Fiordland. The wealth of Huw's knowledge was unmatched and the trip wouldn't have been possible without him. We learnt just as much from chatting to Huw as we did on the water. Wonderful day trip up the Matukituki Valley for the Aspiring Day trip! Huw was a great guide, providing gear we needed, helping all of us to feel comfortable on the river, and teaching us a bit about using the rafts. One of our favorite days of the trip, well worth it!!

Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Huw is a consummate professional - striking exactly the right balance between a providing a memorable backcountry adventure and an accessible one. The walk into the Rees valley, the lunch under Mt Earnshaw, the kayak adventure up 25mile creek and then back down the river, all made for a full and rewarding day. The day was perfectly paced, and Huw was patient, informative and courteous throughout. As a reasonably fit 60year old, it is hard to find experiences like this that so rewarding without being ‘over the top’. I really felt at one with the environment on this adventure. Thank you.
