The staff at this post office location can only do simple things such as sending post card. They are not trained for more complicated scenarios. I have been given a quote of almost 500 dollars to send shipment to Russia. They didn't offer any other options. 2 ladies assisted me. I went online after it and there is an options to ship for 200 that would suit my needs. I called them to ask why this option wasn't offered and they weren't even aware what is the NZ post offering. They also said that the lady assisting me was still learning - she should have been supervised.

This is nestled in the pharmacy at Frankton so you’ll need to walk in the pharmacy to see the New Zealand Post sign. Not much of a queue on a Wednesday afternoon at 4pm, but the staff on duty was curt and not at all welcoming. Just get what you need and don’t expect a positive service experience.
Horrible customer service! The girls behind the counter are always grumpy and rude, one of them even rolled her eyes at me once! I thought I was doing something wrong but after asking around people said they’ve been through the same bad service.

Bad experience in the NZ post office in Frankton, feel so disappointed. When I bought 3 red bag, there was no any place like a simple desk available for me to write. I barely found a very small spare desk and started to write, the staff came out, said you can’t write here, you need to write in your car. I responded, but I didn’t drive the car. And she said, you can write outside, but not inside. So I went out, and wrote the postal information on the outside floor, and it’s winter time, very cold, dirty and not easy to write on the floor. bad service here. why there is no desks for customers to write, not like post office in other places.
