An iconic sculpture showing the area's history and culture. The location is easily accessible by car and one has to walk downstairs to access the beach. There are some benches nearby for sitting and relaxing. The views are awesome on a clear day. Ideal for a day's outing from Auckland or Hamilton. Very highly recommended.
