The museum is fine and worth a look. But when I asked about how the line went from Clyde to Crowell , I was told bluntly that the line never went there and when I said again are you sure I was told 'no' is a complete sentence On return to to the hotel . I looked up Cromwell Gorge and discovered a picture of Cromwell station the master and his dog. The line was completed in 1921 and stopped in 1976 when the diesel coaches were stopped . No info seems available on the 20 km of track, Here. Please ask again but have your iPad ready
