If you want a clinic who is thorough & professional & has receptionists who don't gossip about the patients in front of them & are courteous & polite then perhaps this isn't the place for you? If you want nurses who are professional, respectful & not dismissive then this may not be the place for you either. May I suggest a review of what service actually means & the fact the paying customer deserves to be treated with courtesy & respect.

I am new to the area and seen some people recommend Durham Health on a local social media community page. Glad I went, friendly welcoming Reception staff, and the hardest part was choosing which Doctor to see. Literally cannot recommend Dr Nicola van der Hulst enough...she listened intently, and I got the outcome I had been searching for with many other Doctors at many different practices, all in the first visit. Very impressed with her, and such a lovely lady! Thanks Durham Health.

The most terrible medical center I've ever been. Very bad customer service, always running late, even if you make the first appointment for the day or after the lunch time. Very, very rude manager and uneducated doctors. They prescribe medications without even understanding what they are treating. Had awful experience with my kids their. Never would recommend.

Receptionists didn't even look up to tell me to take a seat. In the past I have heard them gossiping to each other about various clients. Doctors whomever you get seem to constantly need Google. The nurse Leigh is rude, incompetent and full of self importance..went to her for earwax removal.. said I had a huge piece in one and would need to see a ear specialist..which I did the next day who told me there was nothing there .

This is a doctor service where you don't get a personal doctor they give you any doctor that's available that day, so no personal matters at all. They charged me 50 for a consult over the phone and the level of professionalism wasn't the best. They used to be amazing. I don't know what happened.

I have never had an on-time appointment at Durham health, I understand 10, maybe even 15 minutes running late but my last several appointments I have been waiting 30-45 minute AFTER my scheduled time, with no word or apology from anybody that things were so hugely behind schedule. Not to mention the women (aside from one) in reception are always very unfriendly and snappy which makes it even less appealing to book an appointment at Durham health.

My Mum enrolled there as she was hoping to see a Dr there since last Yr but they were full. I can now see why they were. The receptioniets are welcoming, the nurses are lovely and the Dr was very kind, a knowledgable and thorough. He was understanding of mental health and my Mother almost cried as she was so relieved to finally find a Dr who listens to her.
