This was very affordable, if you like a soft mattress this is great, I could have lived with that but the strong cleaner smell gave me a headache and I struggled to go to sleep and stay asleep due to the smell. Even with windows open I couldn't rid the cabin of the smell. I needed 2 more nights accommodation latter in the week and chose to pay more to stay elsewhere.

The manager geoff brown had agreed availability to stay at this motor camp upon calling him on another occasion became indifferent and obnoxious said he didn't want me there with apsolutly no reason why.. Or reason to do so.. Hes a COLD HEARTLESS man and when i was in his presence he smelt of alcohol.. Visibly Hes comes across as a complete alcoholic and as he is clearly losing his marbles.. I incourage you all DO NOT BOTHER GIVING YOUR HARD EARNED CASH TO A PISS HEAD in a society such like this he should be deemed a criminal

Terrible, smelly, old rooms. No wifi. Can get much better for the same price elsewhere. Do not stay here, find someplace else. Location sucks too.

Friendly greeting, spacious site, clean facilities and NZMCA discount offered..we didn't have to ask. Lots of permanents but all very organized.

BATES MOTEL........... stay away worst accommodation I have ever stayed, there was a car air freshener hanging in the room to cover the damp smell, neighbours arguing at 4 am, showers are tired was scared of catching something
