An asset to Rangiora this war memorial is the centre of activity during ANZAC day remembering celebrations. On this particular day the armed services local Police, Fire Service Scouts, RSA members and the general public etc all come out to remember those who have fallen in past conflicts. Finishing with the Last Post buy the lone bugle the gathering returns to the RSA to enjoy the afternoon. The war memorial serves as a great symbol in my humble opinion that there is never any winners or losers on any conflict.
