The best pie I’ve eaten in NZ. I had the one with beef, mushrooms and onion. And the coffee is lovely too. Even if pues are not your thing here you’ll make an exception

We travel from Auckland to Hamilton a couple of times a year, and we stop at Rangiriri for a coffee,however the usual place was closed. We noticed a sign for coffee a couple of doors away, and out we got. There was another couple who were asking what kind of pies the lady made my face lit up when I heard "chocolate "I had to have one! It was delicious and my husband enjoyed his. The pies were cooked whilst we waited. I would highly recommend this cafe, the lady owner was very friendly. Take care when coming from Auckland that you don't miss the Rangiriri turnoff
