Very nice commune-like Holiday park. There's a pretty decent kitchen, living room with indoor showers and also a washing room with plenty of machines. Gives of a backpackers feel more than a camper van park of which New Zealand has so many. Just a few meters walk and you're standing on the beach where you can enjoy a lovely sun down.

Been traveling sounth island with my wife and our 3 babies for month and a half Pulled into camp was honesty box run their was a lady living on site told us to park on grass patch by basketball hoop as it had powered site plug filled out paper work. Un hooked caravan shot to town got back and their was a not so lovely note written with permanent marker by the caretaker over half the door off our caravan upon removal has now permanently damaged the door .approached him to talk their was no reasoning with him only abuse was a shame as it was a beautiful location would return to enjoy this beautiful spot when under new management, currently would not recommend.

Not a modern camp site, but has all the bits you need, laundry, kitchen, dining showers toilets, powered sites etc. Major bonus you are right on the shore front. Love the Falling asleep with the ocean waves. Basically you could look at the camp ground as the classic kiwi beach Bach.

This place is such a gem. Definitely a bit old but in a rather adorable way. The owners are friendly, the camp is clean and the views are incredible. I'd come again anytime

Nexr to the ocean. Picnic tanlws. Good wifi. Clean place. But little bit old fashion. Nobody there. Trust box. Free shower. Higher price. No low cost. 20pp (single) instead of 15 like app said

A very simple campsite, but with some of the best beachside pitches ever. Literally steps from the beach. Very friendly lady checked us in. No frills, but that wasn't what we were in Rapahoe for. Word of warning if you are wanting a feed and a beer at the pub next door, it closes about 8pm. Greymouth McDonald's saved our night.
