One of the very important aspects of the tours is the community involvement. Tamariki Education Centre, the primary school we established in a slum area a few years ago, provides needy children with education. Everyone has the right to education, but unfortunately in developing countries, there is often not the opportunity. All tours involve visits to the school where we interact and play with the children and staff. Our kids come from very impoverished homes so to make a small difference in their struggling lives for a short time is wonderful.
