food is standard but when the server doesn't even know what they sell (I checked the online menu prior to driving in so I was prepared) and was told no they don't do regular hot and spicy popcorn chicken and no they don't sell drinks in bottles. When I went to the collection window I saw the drinks and also had seen the car ahead of me being handed one so asked to buy one there and was told sorry I need to go through the drive in. Needless to say I didn't. I went to the supermarket as I should have done in the beginning but was trying to avoid the crowds.

Spent time with the elders, haha I'm one 2 now my dad's gone. With all the food shops in town can't beet kfc we all mentioned.... Good ol kfc...
Not sure what all of the "bed" reviews are about. As an American I was delighted to see a KFC, period. As with most US fast food chains present in NZ, one can expect smaller portions at a higher price. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. As I recall, the employees were both friendly and efficient. 5/5
Not bad. I reckon the wicked wings are the tastiest. Busy place.
Not impressed. They were out of stock of bean salad and the burger I ordered was the worst burger I've had, didn't resemble the picture at all and looked like it was thrown together. Rubbish, will not shop there again, better places to get fried chicken in Whangarei
Female staff Briar needs to greet customers with a welcoming smile! The entrance floors right around the restaurant were filthy dirty! All the tables looked like they had not been wiped cleaned and no staff came to clean in the 40mins we were there! The toilets...disgraceful! The chicken meal was ok, except the chips were not fresh! C grade experience today.
Worst KFC in NZ!! Probably the worst fast food restaurants in NZ!!! Food is always average and missed items on the last 4 consecutive deliveries. Whangarei needs a second KFC, might encourage the Bank Street hole to tidy up their act?
Very average in terms of food and service, can improve on general cleaness in and around restaurant. Can experience fairly long waiting times from time to time
