Wisdom Teeth Removal was an easy experience with Neil. Post surgery I have had dealings with one of his office administrators over the phone and unfortunately the dealing was very unpleasant. I have been recommending this practice since my procedure but due to the dealings with Nikki this has completely changed my mind. There was no compassion and she would not even let me speak on the phone. I am happy for someone else to contact me regarding my issue to try resolve this negative feedback.

I went to Ian to have four wisdom teeth removed. Reading some of the reviews I was almost put off but after two consultations, one with Ian and one with another practice I chose Ian and have no regrets. Consultation - consultation was short but he came across as considerate and competent and provided me with a mouthwash to be taken before and after to prevent infection. Instructions provided before (and after) were very clear. During the surgery - I was given an amnesiac and so don't remember a thing. The dosage was exact for me. I remember going in and coming out but not the surgery itself. I never felt dizzy or sick and for the most part I seemed cognizant. The nurses were very kind and competent. Following Surgery - When I came out of surgery they brought me to a quiet, dimly lit room where I could sit comfortably. They gave me plenty of pain relief, antibiotics, ice packs and gauze to take home with me. They called roughly a week following to check how I was going and when I called them myself they were very kind and helpful. I am very happy with the level of care I received. Thanks Ian and your lovely staff.

I visited for consultation with Dr Neil Luyk for certainly tangible price. For some reason I treated by his secretary Nikki by not honest way. She was promising to charge me negotiated price and then was acting like she doesn't know what I'm talking about and blaming me like I forgot something. I don't believe person should act like this to patients. Sergey

Dr Ian Cathro (doctor dentist) at Oral Surgery Associates is absolutely phenomenal, Mr Cathro removed my lower left wisdom tooth with laser surgery and the procedure as well as appointment support from the entire team is incredible. First and foremost, the whole team are seriously onto it. When they book you in initially, you're given a blue sedative pill to have before your operation on the day and they clearly instruct as well as strictly require patients to be driven by someone before and after the surgery. I fell asleep during the operation so I don't remember a thing, they even ask if you would like to keep the wisdom tooth for memorabilia such is the detail Oral Surgery Associates plan their dental operations and I've got mine in my bedside table. A few days after they phoned to follow-up post-operation and I had some pain so I went back into the clinic without any appointment, Waseem kindly put a tube-like item in the gap for relief as well as gave me additional medication. Finally, the nurse and front desk team members are very kind indeed with their knowledge for peace of mind as well as to provide reassurance. I can't wait to have the other lower impacted wisdom tooth also removed by Dr Ian at Oral Surgery Associates on 13 August 2020. Cheers

I have recently had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Ian Cathro at Oral Surgery Associates and I would absolutely recommend them. From my original consult to the removal - the entire process was easy and they made sure I was comfortable right the way throughout. The reception staff were lovely and helpful and helped make the entire process easy and stress free. Even after the surgery they sent me home with everything I needed and some clear instructions. Very happy with the service I received.

I had my impacted wisdom tooth removal here by Dr Neil and his team and it was such a lovely smooth experience. I received two follow up calls from Dr Neil on the day and a week later to check up on the recovery. I felt very looked after from pre-surgery to post-surgery and I highly recommend Dr Neil and his whole team and could not praise their wonderful service and professionalism enough. Thanks again!

PLEASE READ - DO NOT GET YOUR WISDOM TEETH REMOVED HERE! I really hope Dr Ian Cathro reads this! my sister had her wisdom teeth removed by Ian and this has honestly been the most heartbreaking thing I have ever experienced in my life watching my sister be and ABSOLUTE AGONY ever since she had her wisdom teeth removed. She visited Ian for a follow up appointment and when she explained how much pain she has been in he wasn't even interested in investigating any further what was causing her pain and didn't believe it was even possible that it was something that he could of caused. Absolutely terrible service! how anyone could treat their patients like that is beyond me!! After 20 specialist appointments, Multiple Doctors visits, MRI and CT Scans, and an endless amount of getting your hopes up on getting answers to what is causing the extreme pain that resulted in still no answers. Fast forward to a YEAR later (only just figured out yesterday what is causing the pain) Her local dentist at Dental Care West did some facial scans on her Jaw and discovered that she has TMD where her jaw disc actually pops out when she opens and closes her mouth. This has ruined my sisters life. She is in constant pain day and night where the nerves are being compressed from the disc and cause extreme facial pain and burning and sharp stabbing pains down her neck. She hasn't been able eat properly because she is unable to open her mouth wide anymore and chewing hard foods hurt. All this has been caused by having her wisdom teeth removed by Oral Surgery Associates. She now requires a Mouth Splint which is going to cost 3,500 just for the splint. I really hope Oral Surgery Associates help with this situation covering the cost of the splint or providing her with one, since you are in the dental industry you would be able to source the Mouth Splint for a fraction of the cost of 3,500. Please learn to look after your patients!
